About the role
Primarily, you will safely and efficiently load and deliver bulk materials to TL Customers in Townsville, North Queensland and Northern Territory. Pending business needs you may do work across other areas of the business as well.
The Roster varies dependent on operational requirements; however, we endeavour to offer flexibility and work with our Operators where possible.
Key aspects of this role include:
Expert operation and care of TL’s vehicles and equipment
Operating in a safe and compliant manner
Completing all documentation, and pre- and post-start checks
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
You will hold a current MC License (minimum 2-year driving experience) and have experience operating multi combination vehicles, specifically towing triple road trains.
Essential qualifications:
MC truck License
Dangerous Goods License
Basic Fatigue Management
Willingness to work day and night rosters
You will have a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, as well as motivated work ethic and enjoy working in a team environment.
You must be able to complete a pre-employment medical and functional assessment, as well as obtain and maintain inductions for customer sites including but not limited to: Sun Metals Corporation and Townsville Port.
