Job Description
About the role
Our Metal loading pad and internal loading facility is based at Stuart, Townsville, operates 24/7 to support our internal and external customers.
Our operators are required to operate forklifts and reach stackers and maintain the equipment to support the success of our operations safely and efficiently.
For this reason, a LF and/or RS are essential.
This is a casual position with full time hours that may lead into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have.
Forklift experience within a fast-paced environment, 1-2 years preferred.
The ability to operate a forklift to transport, load, and unload metal materials.
The ability to handle heavy loads whilst working in an industrial setting.
Previous experience in a warehouse
Strong safety focus and attention to detail
Reliable and solid work ethic
A pre-employment medical and functional assessment will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
