Job Description
About the position
We are currently seeking an experienced Application Analyst to join the company’s IT team at Sun Metals.
This is a full-time position, reporting to the IT Superintendent. Working in fast paced, high-volume environment, this position is ideally suited to a candidate who possesses excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal and time management skills.
The key responsibilities of this position are:
Supporting Oracle JDE 9.2 environments;
Working with application users to understand requirements and map to appropriate best practice solutions;
Converting high level business requirements into detailed functional / technical specification documents;
Managing the technical and functional aspects of Oracle JDE Modules including Finance, Purchasing, Sales and EDI;
Supporting and maintaining different integrations between ERP systems, EDI and any other third-party systems integration; and
Proactively participating in efforts to improve ERP system processes and driving root cause analysis.
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in this challenging role, you will already have or be able to quickly acquire:
Bachelor degree in IT or related field or relevant industry qualifications.
Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
Oracle JDE 9.2 functional and development experience;
Knowledge of JDE E1 modules including Finance, Supply Chain and Sales;
Strong JDE Development experience;
Oracle/SQL Server Database experience;
Experience in integration from JDE to other systems;
Experience in project Management; and
Excellent communication skills.
Being able to speak Korean would be advantageous but not essential.
